Dusseldorf / Berlin (Reuters). The federal government plans, according to a media report on Wednesday to adopt a package of laws regulating the financial sector. As the "Handelsblatt" reported Monday to systemically important financial institutions such as the German Bank will make wills. Once a year they should be the German Federal Financial Services Supervisory Authority (BaFin) to submit a plan on how they could be restored in the event of difficulties, the newspaper writes, citing plans by German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble (CDU).

The Association of German Banks referred to such a law as premature as from 2015 EU-wide rules to come into force.
